@scottn7cy No, Oregon said they may drop mask mandates after March 31st. Of course, that was before they realized children under 5 couldn't be vaccinated. I was in the store today. Mask mandates are still in effect.

@beyondthunderstick1578 Two children are dying of Covid-19 each day in the US. Over half the children, sick enough to be hospitalized, end up with brain damage, due to MIS-C. No, you're wrong, a lot more than 1% of infected children have serious illness.

My daughter is really annoyed that she can't protect her three year old son from Covid-19. Her feeling is, if it takes three or four injections for full immunity, let's at least get the first one. Then researchers can work out how many vaccinations are required, for full immunity, at their leisure. But, at least her son will have some protection. She also wants the schools to require Covid-19 vaccines, just as they do MMR and DPT. I agree with her. You might disagree with her, but then, you probably don't have a degree in microbiology, like I do.
