@billargueta5458 Yes, you can contract a mild case of chickenpox after previous infection or vaccination. Just like with most people vaccinated against Covid, it is so mild, you'd only know you had it by testing. When was the last time you were tested for chickenpox?

@billargueta5458 Untrue. There is a large group of children, who survived Covid, but now have learning disabilities due to mental impairment. There are other children with damaged hearts, because of something like Kawasaki's syndrome. Sure you can risk your child's debilitation from Covid, by just letting them get infected. But, it is much more intelligent to obtain their immunity the safe way, through vaccination.

@Spearhand00 Cancer is not one disease, but many. One form of cancer, cervical cancer, can now be prevented through vaccination. And the first applications for the mRNA vaccines was immunotherapy against certain cancers.

It wasn't science that failed here, but purchasing and logistics. Serum Institute needed the same supplies vaccine manufacturers around the world needed, like sterile biobags. There was an international shortage, and the manufacturing countries kept supplies for their own vaccine manufacturers.

@madisongittens4007 Antigenic changes in influenza are more attributable to reassortment, during coinfection, than mutation. Influenza is a weird virus, with a segmented genome.
