  1. Raiding someone's home, and taking their child away, could be considered "tantamount to torture", but that is not what happened. People illegally entered our country, but the courts said they couldn't instantly be deported, if they had minors, so they were held. The immigration courts also couldn't process the immense load, so they were held a long time. Then the courts said children couldn't be held so long in detention. This was under Obama, not Trump. So the "families" were allowed to disperse throughout the country, and told to show up for their court date. Many did not. Trump got angry, and started instantly separating the children. But, he wasn't going into their country, removing the children. Nobody forced them to come here illegally. Sure, Trump was an insensitive jerk, one of the worst humans ever, but the real fault lies with the courts that decided minors could not be instantly deported or held with their families.

  2. Let's be honest, if Trump had been that "imprecise", he'd have been called a liar. Biden owes us all an apology, not sending his spin doctors out, to tell us he didn't say what he did. Next time, if Biden doesn't know the something, he should be honest. The country won't be upset if he doesn't have all the info, but we had enough lying from the last guy. And lying, while indignant, only makes it worse.
