Clinton's dalliance was tacky, but not illegal. Trump paying off his sexual partners, in the way he did it, was a violation of campaign finance laws, and he knew it. Starr had no right to question Clinton about a legal affair. He was impeached for nothing. Besides the campaign finance infractions, Trump as openly asked for illegal help from Russia and constantly tries to impede the investigations into his crimes. Starr's judgement is of no import because he would never impeach a Republican, even if they commit a crime on national TV.
