The real fly in the ointment is the Senate. It is obscene that such a nondemocratic body, where a state that has 39,185,605 people has the same number of senators as one with only 581,348, has so much control. The Senate is based upon the House of Lords, and the UK, and other countries with a representative house based upon the Lords, have stripped these bodies of most of their power. They can now only advise, but not prevent laws being enacted. The US Senate should also be stripped of such power, and confirmations should either be done by the House, or a committee appointed by them. Then, the US should reform the method of electing the president, and go to a popular vote. Then you would not have a president the majority disapproved of, making such consequential nominations.

@ericbarros1818 It was obviously a decision based upon religion. Notice that every single justice, who voted to strip away a woman's right to control her own uterus, was a victim of Jesuit indoctrination from grade school through college. This is an imposition of Catholic dogma, on every woman in the country, regardless of her religion, which is supposed to be prevented by the First Amendment. Since parents can evade vaccination requirements, by citing religious objection, women should be able to have a religious objection against any restriction on abortion.

@Tony-723 The bible also commands husbands to give their wife an aborticide, if he suspects she is pregnant with a child not of his making. Clearly the bible does not consider a fetus a human life. In fact, life is stated to begin when the first breath is taken, and a fetus cannot breathe.

@ellewatts82 A cancerous tumor has unique DNA, as that is what allows it to grow without bounds. If we were to use your erroneous definition, then treatment and surgery for cancer would be illegal. Learn a little science, because you are wrong. (BTW I have a science degree from UCLA, and took development biology, so know more than you do.)
