@marstru1498 No, he did not! What he said was there were not enough N95 for health workers, and to wear a simple cloth mask, but save the N95 masks for those who truly needed them until PPE production was adequate. Some media edited what he said, to make it seem that he was advocating against masks, because they were duplicitous.

steve119md For the nth time, Trump did not close travel to or from China. He stopped Chinese nationals from coming into the country, but allowed US citizens and residents to enter without requiring any quarantine, as the 39 countries that truly closed travel before us did. With the virus already in the US, by the time Trump acted, it was too late. The virus was already in Europe, so it was incomplete. And since no two week quarantine was required, it was useless.
