  1. Actually, the electoral college was about giving slave states more of a vote, since much of their population could not vote as it was property. It is archaic and unfair. Each person's vote should have the same weight. Each state should elect its representatives, but the whole country should elect the president. A much simpler and far more egalitarian concept.
