  1. There is a presumption of innocence, in this country, so refusing to hire someone, before conviction, should be illegal. Sadly, there is no bar against running for president, from behind bars. Fortunately, Michigan bars convicts from office, for 20 years after conviction. Mere indictments don't bar them.
