  2. I knew this was coming, when all three of Trump's unqualified appointments were confirmed. Certainly Democratic leaders could see this coming as well. Why have they wasted more than a year, trying to get a bill, the majority of the country did not want, passed rather than drafting legislation to protect women's reproductive rights? If they do not step up, and draft a bill to secure our rights now it is clear they are cynically using this as a way to get more votes. I expect this sort of crass political maneuvering, from the Republicans, but our party is supposed to be better. I'm tired of promises, I want action. Draft that bill today.
