Everything coming from the Republicans about the impeachment of Trump is deflection of what they did to Clinton. They say Democrats were always out to get Trump, when Clinton's impeachment derived from a constant attempt to get something on him. First it was White Water (real estate), they they tried to find campaign finance improprieties, then the said he harassed Paula Jones. All failed, but when the found out he'd had a legal, if gross, dalliance, they got him on that. With Trump, Pelosi has let many other reasons to impeach pass by, put finally had to act, as this one threatens the next election.
The Republicans say the process is rushed, Yet they spent half as much time on Clinton's proceedings.
As to when presidents were impeached: Johnson was not elected, but the impeachment came in his only term, so Clinton is the outlier having been impeached in his second term.
