@AbleBodied Having tutored nursing students in chemistry, while getting my BA in microbiology, I wouldn't make the claim that nurses "know science". You get a very watered down version of science. Even my mother, who couldn't multiply or do basic algebra, was able to become an RN. I'm really not impressed by your nursing credentials.

That depends upon what you are using it for. To protect yourself, you're correct. To protect others from you, no, even a cloth mask works.

@Crystal_Nicole You're wrong! Both masking and vaccinating does a lot to reduce the spread of this disease. Claiming they don't, when every scientific paper from a reputable institution shows otherwise, is irrational. Of those being hospitalized for, and dying of Covid, 99% are the unvaccinated. So, any sane individual, who can, gets vaccinated. But children under 12 are not yet eligible, so must be protected from the selfish morons who refuse vaccination.
