@t1n4444 Don't you understand irony? The excuse given, for doing nothing to keep guns out of hands of unhinged people, is always the amendment, meant to make sure the "well regulated militia" protecting the country is armed.

@davidrobertsemail Funny how that isn't how the courts interpreted it, for most of the country's history. The idea that this amendment, obviously intended for what is now called the National Guard, was only misinterpreted to mean any crazy fool, fifteen years ago.

@davidrobertsemail Language has not changed that much in a few hundred years. The meaning of the amendment is very obvious, to anyone not blinded by propaganda. The role of a "well regulated militia" is fulfilled today by the National Guard. And only they cannot have their right to arms infringed upon.
