  1. If you steal food, the person who is selling that food suffers. Is it fair to hurt an innocent merchant, because of government incompetence? And hurting those, that are selling food, puts them out of business, and turns your neighborhood into a food desert. There is no excuse for any theft, of anything. Thinking you're entitled to take what you want is evil.

  2. They weren't looting for food, you can't eat what they were stealing. And even stealing food, puts those selling food out of business. Theft and destruction is never justified. The riots just gave them cover for theft. Stop trying to make excuses for illegal behavior that destroys communities.
