@yalmuzique You are arguing with a German about what they have. He knows better than you. The only countries that have a system like what Sanders proposes are Cuba and Venezuela. You are speaking from total ignorance.

Wrong. Germany has mandatory health insurance, and allows supplemental private insurance. What they have is much like what Biden is proposing. Italy has is more similar to what Sanders would impose, although they are allowed private insurance. Let's see what happens if this virus hits Venezuela for a real test of a Sanders' ideas.

@jamesburns9578 All they have to do is point to Italy. It will be an easy argument for them to win, if you insist on using this pandemic as your talking point. A much better argument can be made for a public option, and bringing back the mandate.
