  1. There are some good reasons to behave civilly, even when the other side is absurdly rude. There will be a time, hopefully soon, when Democrats are in control. When that happens, do you want all of our pols to be denied service? And, by being nasty back to the creeps Trump appoints, you make martyrs of them. "Oh, poor me, the liberals were mean to me." You change the narrative away from all of their terrible policies, and unto how badly they feel they have been mistreated. Also, we set a bad example for the youth of the nation. Rudeness should not be emulated, but it will be if we make it seem patriotic.
