@davidkeogh1570 No, drag is wearing the attire of the other gender/sex. When male attire, for the wealthy, was wearing wigs and stockings, it was not drag. If they'd worn dresses, instead of pantaloons and stockings, that would have been drag. And, if drag queens weren't putting on sexually explicit shows, in schools and libraries, then why are you concerned it is banned?

This is a stupid comment. Nylon for stockings was invented in 1938. The Founding Fathers did not wear nylon. Wigs and heels were commonly worn by men of wealth, in the 18th century. Drag would have meant wearing women's attire, long corseted dresses. This they did not do.

@shermandudley5548 It was in the 18th century. Female attire, at the time, were long dresses. The founding fathers did not wear long dresses, but typical male attire.

They did this to trigger the woke, and from the comments, they have succeeded. This does not ban drag shows, only those on public property. Night clubs can still have drag shows. You can have one, in your own home, and invite all your friends, if you wish. It just isn't that important. Women losing their reproductive rights, is a much bigger deal. Focus on what matters.

Do you think freedom of speech, allows you to perform lewd acts in public? Speech is not action.

Nah, they aren't advocating tossing gay men, to their death, from rooftops.

I was unaware a public library was an adult venue. Also, this law does not ban such acts in adult venues. What is your problem with it?

Do you think the Constitution allows you to do whatever you want, wherever you are? Reread it. You're mistaken. Or better yet, strip down naked, and take a stroll down Main Street.

Meh..I'm far more concerned that women, in Tennessee, have lost their reproductive freedom. So, this ugly dude can't perform at schools. So what?

@cypressbutane4575 How is a public library different from a public school?
