  1. The "right to bear arms" refers to state militias, not individuals. It was only a decade ago (DC v Heller) that the Supreme Court erroneously decided to apply it as an individual right. This was due to packing the court with right wing judges, which led to other horrible decisions like Citizens United and Hobby Lobby.
