  4.  @jthawks4040  It's not that it isn't profitable, it is that it becomes impossible. Look at Kitzinger and Cheney, two solidly conservative Republicans who know they cannot be reelected after (horror of horrors) standing up for democracy. Most principled Republicans left the party, after five years of Trump's tyrannical behavior, and only a mouth breathing base is left. The only way a moral Republican can win a primary, is if it is a gorilla primary.
