  1. Wow, look at all the hatred a logical comment caused. Most gun owners are in favor of sensible gun laws.I grew in an area where most had guns for hunting, mostly shotguns and 22s. My mother only let me hunt during bow season because she was afraid of idiots getting liquored up and killing me by accident. If a 12 year old girl can bring down a deer with a bow, why do big strong men need powerful semiautomatic weapons to bring down prey? Yet if anyone suggests a reasonable limit on the power and firing speed of weapons and ammo, a small segment of the population goes ape shit. If someone suggests that mentally unstable people should not be allowed to arm themselves, a minority screams "You're not taking my guns!" How crazy are you that you are afraid of losing your weapons?
