  1. Nothing is free. What you mean is some people pick up the cost for others. And in countries, where students don't pay tuition, or tuition is minimal, it is much harder to get into college, than in the US. You actually have to be intelligent, and work hard in school, to be accepted to college, with good grades and high test scores. There are no places given out for race or athletic ability. Good scholarship is what is required, and most of these loan holders would not have qualified.

  2. How about the government should stop guaranteeing loans for private colleges, and only give out loans and grants to top students, who deserve them, for state schools.

  3. You realize that everyone isn't qualified to go to university, don't you? Most of the fools, who took out loans to get useless degrees, would never be admitted in countries with free higher education. If they were good students, they'd have gotten a scholarship.
