@darkbendover Poland is part of NATO. He probably planned to take all the non-NATO FSU countries, before he turned to Poland. Probably the countries Russia already occupies, Georgia and Moldova. Then, he'd take out the ever battling Armenia and Azerbaijan. Who are also non-NATO. Then all the Muslim FSUs.

Israeli TV was discussing this call up of reservists. The first thing each commenter said was "It's not like here, where everyone is in milulim (the reserves) until 35, and has to train <for a month> each year." The point they made was a reservist, whose training is allowed to lapse, is almost as useless, as a raw recruit. Of course wives, mothers and sisters, are distressed. Those they love, are being sent to their certain deaths, for nothing but the ego of a cruel dictator.

I doubt he cares about feeding them. By sending untrained troops, who care nothing for the rules of war, and will only strive for their own survival, he ensures Ukrainian civilians will be robbed and killed.
