  1. He's a Catholic, of course he followed their dogma, until he realized that nobody has the right to apply their religious beliefs, to other people's bodies. The whole idea, of holding people's past beliefs, or the beliefs of people in the past, up to the light of today's ethnics, is absurd.

  2. What you suggest is called the rhythm method, the only form of birth control the Catholic church condones. There is an old joke about it, "Do you know what they call people, who use the rhythm method? Parents."

  3. Until adoptive parents provide the womb, and the zygote is transferred to them, adoption is not a good solution. A woman still had to endure the pain and risk of pregnancy, for no good reason.
