Yes, I was upset by his confirmation as well. Not just because of Ms. Hill's brave testimony, but his entire attitude was so condescending and self righteous. I remember wishing Anita Hill was the nominee. She had so much more integrity, and a far more judicious demeanor.

@lynflorentine9023 Same here, his lynching comment was so inappropriate. His entire attitude was arrogant and obnoxious, like he was the only qualified black judge available. I wish Ms. Hill had gotten the position, not him. She showed much more integrity.

@rridderbusch518 Yes, and that is only after the House votes to impeach.

@CantHandleThisCanYa Impeachment was included in the Constitution, to remove the need for assassination. But, the impeachment process clearly doesn't work. What does that leave the American people?

@peterwuwei3297 Maybe they should, but they won't.

In the 1950s and 1960s, my father often got whiskey bottles at christmas (even though we weren't christian) from the local drug stores and other physicians he consulted with. As he was not much of a drinker, he put them aside for guests, or re-gifted them, and my mother dutifully recorded their value for tax time. Thankfully, in the 1970s, the gifters switched to more useful gifts, like dried fruit baskets. When Dad died, my mother gave away the fifty or so bottles of Chivas Regal, stashed away in the basement.

And if such an investigation proves what we already know, that he is unfit, what then? The only way to remove him, is through impeachment and removal. And after the failures to get rid of Trump through impeachment, whose unfitness for office was even more egregious, do you expect Thomas to be removed?

But, while apply to the rest you mentioned, and to lower court judges, they don't to SCOTUS. Blame those who wrote the Constitution.

That would require an amendment to the Constitution. Do you honestly expect it to pass and be ratified?

@JohnJakeWilliam He's not bragging about his stuff. He's saying he could have legally written of the expense of his "stuff", but didn't because he felt it unethical.
