  1. She's right about one thing, more large birds. When I was a little kid, in the 1960s, we didn't have a lot of large crows, condors or turkey vultures, because of DDT. That chemical weakened eggshells, and large birds were crushing their own eggs. DDT was banned in 1972, and large bird populations began to recover.

  2.  @Foreverfront  I've twice been electrocuted by 220v, once by a shorting clothes dryer, once by a faulty prothrombin time device. Both times I was thrown across the room. Neither time did I die.
