All the people castigating these mothers, because after voting for Biden, they voted for Youngkin, need to stop throwing out insults and listen with a bit of empathy. Sure, when people vote, in a different way than you'd like, you can call them names, like stupid, racist or corporate. But, do you think insults will change their votes? Instead, listen to what their concerns are, they differ from yours, but are just as legitimate. Their children, and how they are educated and socialized, in school is their number one concern. They felt only one of the gubernatorial candidates listened to them, and was addressing their concerns, so voted for him. Belittling them may make you feel better, but it will also turn people, with similar concerns away. By not listening, not responding with a pittance of empathy, you guarantee they will continue to vote for the Republicans. You'll never change anyone's mind with an insult.

No, you're the one who has swallowed a line. These women had their lives severely disrupted, and much of that was due to teachers unions, claiming an unsafe work environment during a pandemic. The same unions, that now we have safe vaccines, fight against requiring all teachers to be vaccinated. So, teachers demanded a safe work environment, for themselves, but refuse to give children a safe learning environment. And then, one gubernatorial, kowtowing to the teachers, said parents should have no say in what children are taught. After a year of hell, just to keep teachers safe, that was too much.
