  1. When a guy who went to a fancy Catholic school sneers at someone, because they went to a Jewish school, they are a racist. I sent my children to a Jewish school because I was sick of them being picked on, because they were Jewish. I grew up in rural California, and experienced antisemitism, as a small child, and was damned if my children would have to go through that too. So, I spent the money I'd saved for my own grad school, to send them to a Chabad school. It was far from exclusive and fancy. (The nearby Catholic school was a lot posher.) But, they didn't develop the chip on their shoulders, that I had to, to survive.
