  1. Only half of illegal aliens come over the southern border. A wall will do nothing to stop the ones who overstay their visa. Illegals come here to make money. Punish those who hire them with heavy fines, and they won't be able to work. But Congress will never pass such laws because they, and their rich donors, like having cheap labor that is afraid to complain about labor violations.
