That's false, ivermectin is not a polymerase blocker. It was thought it might block the part of the spike protein that ACE-2 binding site, competitive inhibition, but clinical trials showed it completely ineffective. There is one monoclonal antibody that seems to work, regardless of the infection stage, that was developed against staph enterotoxin B, which is identical in configuration to an important antigenic site on the spike protein. That should be investigated, while all the antiparsiticals are delegated to treating parasitical infections.

But, there aren't really effective treatments. The problem with this pill, like many antivirals, is the virus will soon become resistant. That is why multiple antivirals, an antiviral cocktail, must be used.

@devastatn No, this treatment was developed for the idiots that didn't get vaccinated.

Don't confuse a preventative with a treatment.

@waltergrace565 The chemical composition of both drugs is online. They are completely different.

I hope all heterologous boosters are approved. European trials have shown that those who originally vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine, but got a Moderna booster had the strongest immunity. Even those, who originally got Pfizer followed by a ChadOx (Astrazeneca) vaccine had a stronger immunity than those who got the Pfizer booster, after an original Pfizer vaccination.
