When horrible wildfires swept the west, from Baja California to British Columbia, there were maybe two videos a day on it. You gave desultory coverage of the millions forced to flee their homes, but nothing about the tens of millions, who dared not go outside for weeks, due to the smoke filled air. But, a hurricane happens, and that's it, no news, just weather. You ignore important international news. What about the Ukraine war, and the Russians fleeing conscription? What about the fact the Russians put another hole in a pipeline? How about the hijab protests in Iran, and 76 protesters murdered over them? How about how the CIA failed to protect its Iranian informants? Report on the military junta in Myanmar sending Suu Kyi to jail again, and the numerous civilians they've killed. Report on the plummeting pound, due to Truss's tax cuts. Report on the state of the Brazilian presidential elections, where Lulu is taking the lead, and Bolsanaro is acting as if he'll follow Trump's insurrectionist playbook. Or report on the six red states, suing the Biden administration over his student loan forgiveness. Report on Ginni Thomas meeting with the January 6 committee today. How about Trump's pushing back against the special master he wanted appointed? Enough with the east coast weather report! Give it the same paltry coverage, that you give disasters in the west, or in fly-over country.
