  1. What sort of just god would force a woman to carry an unwanted pregnancy to term? My religion says life begins when breath enters the body (after birth). If my god is OK with abortion, why should you have the right to impose your crazy god on me? If anyone is godless and evil, it is you.

  6. @DolphinsWIthIgloos I had cancer. My cells of my tumor had human DNA. Everyone who knows me is glad I killed that tumor and did not consider it human. A fetus is like a tumor, despite having human DNA it is not a living being. The host should have the right to remove it.

I've had two daughters, carried them in my body, nursed them at my breast and raised them to be responsible adults. And I am certain that abortion is not murder because a fetus is not a human being. You clearly don't understand the meaning of the word genocide.

  17. Health care in Israel is paid for by salary contributions. As a truly modern state, that includes women's health care, including giving birth or having an abortion. Why do you have problem with that?

  18. Bull, because of heavy spotting, I didn't know I was pregnant with my first child until I was in my second trimester. I went to see my physician because I thought I had chronic fatigue. I had a high school friend who didn't realize that she was pregnant till she went into labor. Pregnancy is a horrible experience. Only a very evil person would force a woman to carry a pregnancy to term she didn't want.

  19. People are living beings, a fetus is not. Trying to show any correlation between the treatment of people and fetuses is like showing a correlation between the treatment of people and corpses. Life is a room you enter at birth and leave at death. A fetus is no more a living being than a cancerous tumor. A person should be able to control their own body, and remove an unwanted parasite.

  22. There has been a male contraceptive pill for a about 25 years. It has side effects, which are not a dangerous as the side effects of female contraception. Men won't use them because of the trivial side effects.

  23.  @saradanser894  Logic is not your strong suite. You say a fetus is a human being, yet the word 'being' implies a discrete individual. Clearly, a a fetus relies on the host body for its energy, oxygen and warmth, it is not a discrete individual. Therefore, it is not a being, human or otherwise. It is, rather, a parasite that relies on the host body. People have the right to remove parasites, like fetuses or tumors, even though they have different DNA from the host.

  27. @CaptainRidley NO, you are wrong. a parasite need not be a separate specie. A fetus is considered a parasite. That is how it was described in the developmental biology section at UCLA. Since the prof who taught the class had a Nobel Prize, I trust her description.
