And if the system is flooded with content, meant to agitate, you're giving it more weight. There are bad actors out there, who will adjust to whatever changes FB makes.

Have you raised children to adulthood? Teens are very sneaky, and smart phones are ubiquitous.

@smkh2890 You're really clueless. Parents try their best to make daughters feel good about themselves, but once a girl becomes a teen, parental input has a lot less effect than peer input. The only way to protect a girl from all the negative stereotypes, in our culture, is to home school them, and limit who they can associate with. And the girls whose parents try that, end up the most screwed up, with no idea how to get along in college.

@James Ross Just because you can adjust weights, does not make a neural net an algorithm. And if you don't change the desired result, those weights will be readjusted back, by the net. What you have to change is the goal, and a goal is not an algorithm. Sure, rule based AI systems can have algorithms, but that is not the type of AI being used by FB.
