So, we are not supposed to discuss gun control after a mass shooting. But, mass shootings are occurring so frequently that we may then never discuss them. Part of Reagan's undoing of the New Deal was to close all public mental health clinics. If we can't discuss intelligent background checks, like they have in Canada, can we at least discuss federal funding for free mental health clinics. Currently, the people who need a mental health care the most, can least afford it.
