  2.  @pongohuston8666  It isn't an "AIDS virus". HIV is a retrovirus that inserts itself into the host's DNA, a DNA virus. Coronaviruses are RNA viruses. Most are found in animals, some cause the common cold. Human vaccine trials take over a year. Selective quarantine can flatten the infection curve, antivirals can treat those seriously ill. But, in order to quarantine selectively, we need know who is infected, which means we need to test wide samples of the US population.

  4. I'd rather bypass the government filter. We don't need happy talk. We need current information and test kits. Why hasn't the federal government put pop-up test centers in affected areas? That would keep those infected with Covid-19 away from immuno-compromised individuals and those with pre-existing conditions.
