  2. Inoculation is not better than vaccination. There is more risk of deafness, blindness or other neural impairment with measles. I'm old enough to had to suffer that inoculation route too. But, I was a good parent, and had my children vaccinated.

  3. I'm not sure why you think there are several versions of measles, but diagnosis based on symptoms can fail. Best to play it safe and get vaccinated.

  4.  @scdhl3305  I didn't get the measles vaccine as a child, because it didn't exist yet. But my children, now adults, got their MMR so never had to worry. I had to suffer through those childhood diseases, but did not force my kids to suffer. And I doubt you understand the ingredient list. With a degree in microbiology from UCLA, I do.

  7. Since the vaccines don't cause autism, you don't need to risk them going deaf or blind, or dying from measles. Vaccinate them.

  8. The main problem is a lot of people thought they'd had measles or rubella, based on symptoms, but hadn't. Even though I thought I'd had measles as a child, rubella too, I played it safe and got vaccinated after the vaccine was available.

  12. Not just minors. Because the Haradi community, who often fly back and forth to Israel, in New York didn't vaccinate, two El Al flight attendants died from measles.
