@mumbler5644 Don't be absurd. If Clinton were president, we would still have the Pandemic Response Team at National Security. Test kits would have been waiting for people as they returned to the US on January 1, 2020. Things would never have gotten so out of hand.

Xenophobia is wrong. But, I wish the Chinese would stop trading in, and eating, endangered animals. First it was SARS, from eating civet cats, now it is Covid-19 from eating pangolins. The trade in these endangered animals is illegal, yet eating them is a status symbol. The new ban on wet markets is a start, but the trade in pangolin scales, rhino horn and elephant tusks will continue due to traditional medicine, and threaten these creatures very existence.

@MrGlennJohnsen Modern computers rely on microchips, a totally American invention. Nuclear power generation is an offshoot of the research in NM for the bomb. The first enhanced nuclear material was produced in WA. The first nuclear power plant was in PA. All US states. Tesla was only able to realize his dream in the US, and Musk was raised and educated in the US. Try again.
