  1. Because we don't know it's a "mild" variant, since most of those infected had previously been infected with the Alpha variant. So much for your "natural immunity", it doesn't work as well as vaccination, to stave off severe disease with the Omicron variant.

  5.  @taylorbug9  This thread was trashing Pfizer, who did not take development money for the US government. As to drug effectiveness, I assume you aren't talking about the Pfizer vaccine, as that is not a drug. And Pfizer's protease inhibitor decreases the need for hospitalization by 89%. I call that effective.
