  1.  @fauxque5057  If Ukraine was "just fine" under soviet rule, they would not be fighting so hard to avoid being consumed again. And sure, like many colonizers, Russia brought in its own people to 'settle' in Ukraine. Just like China brought Han Chinese to Tibet.

  3.  @youtubeuser5402  And yet, some Russian 'diplomats' are suggesting they might take Alaska back, if the US continues helping Ukraine. We've seen this story before, and giving into Russian demands, or suing for peace before they withdraw from Ukrainian territory, would be a huge mistake.

  4.  @MJ2A  The US was isolationist, prior to both world wars. If we had been involved earlier, they would not have become world wars. Europe's problems are ours, and as they proved after 9/11, ours are theirs.

  5.  @arteson6093  Ukraine had an agreement with Russia, the Budapest Accord, whereby Ukraine gave up her nuclear weapons, in return for a promise to respect her borders. Russia has proven they don't keep agreements.
