  1. Looking at omicrons sequence, it is pretty obvious it mutated from the alpha variant, and has been about a year acquiring all its mutations. It takes a week or two to make the change in an mRNA vaccine. What takes time is testing and getting approval. All that testing, and the fees paid to FDA are expensive. Have you ever been involved in research, or is your "view" an ignorant one?

  2. No need for that. By the third shot, you should have somatic hypermutation. If you develop a lump in your draining lymph nodes, you'll probably be able to face any epitopic variation the virus throws at you.
