At least Cruz would not have hollowed out the State Dept. or attacked intelligence and law enforcement. He wouldn't have cozied up to tyrants like Erodgan, Duetarte or Kim. He wouldn't have been Putin's lap dog.

  6. She is not alone in those sentiments. That makes it even more important that we choose a moderate, who independents and disaffected Republicans would be willing to vote for. I wasn't old enough to vote in 1972, but saw what happened. A lot of Democrats were upset with Nixon, and they chose McGovern as their candidate. He was overwhelmingly trounced by Nixon because was too liberal.
