I agree, that he is a good man, although there is an issue, that would make it impossible for me to vote for him, reproductive rights. He's too conservative, to win as a Democrat, and too sane, to win as a Republican, and the first and last president elected, who had no party affiliation, was George Washington.

Why? I never watch them, because I can't stand their bent, or how they pick female newscasters for appearance. But, who am I, or you, to say what other people may watch? This isn't a autocratic state, where the government decides what we may watch. And if they shut down Fox, what is to stop anyone from shutting down the stations you want to watch?

Chip Roy wanted Andy Biggs. Do you really find him preferable to McCarthy? Let me give you a little quote from the Jan. 6 committee: “Representative Biggs was involved in numerous elements of President Trump’s efforts to contest the election results,” the introduction said. “As early as November 6, 2020, Representative Biggs texted (White House Chief of Staff) Mark Meadows, urging him to ‘encourage the state legislatures to appoint [electors].’ In the following days, Representative Biggs told Meadows not to let President Trump concede his loss. Between then and January 6th, Representative Biggs coordinated with Arizona State Representative Mark Finchem to gather signatures from Arizona lawmakers endorsing fake Trump electors. He also contacted fake Trump electors in at least one State seeking evidence related to voter fraud.”

Ryan has not been silent, and was against airing the big lie at Fox. I just listened to the Charlie Sykes interview with Ryan, and he says he actually got into a number of heated arguments, with others at Fox, about airing the lies about the election. He felt the station did not do the viewers right, by allowing lies to be aired, and wanted it all stopped. He actually warned the station, that they could be sued, if they kept putting those lies out there. He felt it his fiduciary duty to warn against spreading something they knew to be false. He did not vote for Trump, in 2020, and doesn't want him to be the nominee in 2024. He actually sounds a lot like Kinzinger, when discussing the big lie.
