@Thyalwaysseek It was a stupid question, in that she had already asked it, and had it patiently answered. Then she asked it again, and again. Have you never driven in a car with a kid who kept asking "Are we there yet?" and snapped?

@johnpatrick1647 Cupp is no longer a Republican because she is still a true conservative, and the mores of the GOP are no longer conservative.

It was an extremely unartful question, along the lines of "do you still beat your wife". Biden never said he was confident about Putin, and over and over told her dealing with Putin was a balancing act. Frankly, I would have lost it far worse with her, and asked "Do you listen to what people tell you, or do you just not understand the language?

No, SE, the job of a reporter is not to ask tough questions, it is to ask questions that will elicit an informative response. The way she asked the question was accusatory, assumptive and not designed to add to our knowledge. It was poorly worded with a snarky tone. You know about snarky tones, as that is your forte. But, the worst thing about her question was, she had already asked it and had it answered, but would not move on to something that would actually give us more information. She was doing her job poorly.

@Thyalwaysseek Hoping for the best is not expecting it. Biden honestly answered reporters, that Putin was not a trustworthy man, but two nuclear superpowers could not afford to be on extremely bad terms.
