  1. Actually, the way California went about bussing ruined the public schools. Schools got to pick which kids were bussed across town, and they usually got rid of their problems. In LA, after a bunch of rapes, many beatings, and a one kid stabbed to death, in the suburbs, any parent who could afford it, put their kids in private schools. LA went from having top notch public high schools, to being horrible. Biden was right to oppose such a terrible system. And California did away with the awful bussing program in less than a decade. This is one thing Portland handles better. Kids can petition to go to a different high school than the one near them, and black and Hispanic kids get priority. But, nobody with who's a discipline problem is eligible.

  2. And like so many comments that start with, "meaning no disrespect" are always disrespectful, she did infer he was a racist. Also the California bussing programs she like so much ruined the public schools there, and was ended in five years. Nobody liked it. Not the parents, and not the kids that were bussed. She's such a BS artist, and there were several women, who would have been much better VPs, Klobuchar for example.
