And as long as vaccines have been required, there have been ignorant jerks, who tried to defy mandates, even resorting to violence. Whether it is hatred of their fellow man, or just mind numbing stupidity, these obstinate cretins have been a bane to intelligent public health policies, as long as such policies have existed. Whatever is motivating these evil men, I hope they soon come to their senses, get vaccinated, and let people go back to normal life. Without vaccination, we aren't getting past this pandemic.

  27. These truckers really haven't thought this through. About five years ago, they were worried they'd be replaced by AI. There was such an uproar, truck manufacturers slowed their roll towards fully automated rigs. But, this could convince them to replace humans with AI. How ironic it will be, when this little stunt for "freedom" frees them of the obligation of a well paying job.

  28.  @Censortubes  Actually, many people vaccinated against polio still are infected with the virus. They just don't become seriously ill, become debilitated or die. Which is just how the Covid vaccines work, as well. In fact, the only vaccine we get, that completely blocks infection is against HPV. Try another tactic. And hope you don't get caught out by someone who has actually studied virology again.

Part of being in a civil society is doing your best for the community's well being. That means you get vaccinated, to stop an epidemic. Anyone who is not vaccinated is a very bad citizen.
