@coolcat1530 Nah, it's like a bully was beating someone up, and a bigger, kinder kid stopped him. Then, after a decade, the kind kid got bored, and wandered off. And the bully murdered the victim.

Perhaps the pain Congressmen feel, is due to the certain knowledge that women and girls, living in Afghanistan, will be reduced to slavery again, no rights, no education, no employment, no freedom of movement.
