A lot of comments here are about how terrible US health insurance companies are. I had cancer 12 years ago, and I can empathize with that point of view, after fighting my insurance to get the right chemo. But after watching the problems my guy faced, trying vainly to get a comparable level of care in Israel, and it almost killing him, I have to say we've got it good here. Try living in a country with socialized medicine, say the UK at present, and you'll be blessing our insurance companies. At least we don't have to wait half a year for needed diagnosis. And most medications are available here. We aren't told, sorry the drug that could save your life isn't in our basket.

@Ifonly-notus Absolutely false. She is in favor of DEI, which is the opposite of equality. She is a tyrant (ask all the staff members who quit), so clearly favors tyranny. She has said she'd steal the intellectual property of companies who don't follow her unconstitutional dictates. In fact, she is the opposite of all the virtues you falsely ascribe to her.

While I admire bucking the trend, and not being another rich elite voting for Harris, crackpot Kennedy, really? The man is completely ignorant about the immune system, vaccinology, and of how any of the biochemical pathways of the body work. He is so incredibly ignorant and dangerous, he's the last person who should be put in charge of the nation's health.

The affidavit stated that Harris's people set the parameters, of what topics could or could not be discussed, as well as demanding Harris and Trump be asked certain specific questions. It said, if ABC didn't agree to this cheating, Harris wouldn't debate. Harris also demanded the 'moderators' fact check Trump, but not Harris.

Which one? The one on Long Island or the one at the 92nd. St. Y? I noticed one thing about both rallies, Trump didn't need celebrities on stage, to pack the auditorium, like Harris does.

@rob3539 Which policies does Harris have? When asked about the economy, all she'll say is "I was raised in a middle class family." He policies, in 2020, were so bad that she was the first candidate to drop out. Trump discussed policies, Harris just spends her time assassinating Trump's character, and won't discuss policies.

Harris calls Trump unstable, as she completely loses all composure, and acts unstably. And isn't it rich, for the woman who was soundly rejected by Democratic voters, in 2020, and then was installed as the presidential candidate, without winning a single primary vote, whines that this is a democracy?

But, the draconian crackdown on free speech, and exacerbated two tiered policing, that caused the unrest to flare up, is all the fault of this new Labour government. After ignoring the violent and threatening islamic riots, every Saturday in London, Starmer had the cops break heads and brutally arrest people peacefully protesting against ignoring the criminal migrant gangs and knife crime. Then he made a TV address calling grannies and pensioners "far right thugs". That is what caused the riots.

Proportional representation doesn't guarantee a draconian far left minority won't gain power. Look at what has happened in Israel, where the self appointing courts have decided they have the power to overturn any law, without justification, and that they can create new laws and regulations, by fiat.

Good discussion. If you were considering marrying the guy, all the cheating would be disqualifying. But, it isn't disqualifying to be a secretary of defense, or for any political role. So he's a bit heavy on the born again stuff, but that's probably to push back on the complaints about his morals.
