  1. It is part of the culture of group think. They want to be in on the hip trend even if it is some corporatized knock off of a real homemade style product. The Mormons come from a cult background, so they just apply that mentality of control to their cookie business. They sell the idea that you can get into cookie heaven if you buy these overpriced, bad ingredient filled products. They make a weird culture where the cookies are out for a limited time so they play on FOMO like preachers do with making you fear missing the boat on salvation. I peeked in the window of one of these shops and the people in there seemed aggressive and creepy. It is almost like when you see the Mormon thugs coming donw the street to get new converts into their gang. Now I see what was going on in there.

  3. I got a really good, giant, sweet potato cookie at the farmer's market. It was vegan and made with sourdough. It cost four dollars. There were probably four servings in it and it was sweet, but hey, supporting a local business and knowing the ingredients are clean makes it better.
