Most landlords don't get caught but their tenants are either forced to move out or end up being thrown out. I could very well see this happening, as wild as it sounds. Subsidized housing only pays fair market rent or in the case of NYC, stabilized rent. When the property value exceeds the cost of living adjustment, the landlords want you out. They don't make repairs, they harass you over nothing, they sabotage your property. It is common.

  8. My first impression was just that kids now think they should just do what they want. They don't have faith in the system and aren't going to work with it to see it through. Now she wants to be a model which is almost mindless in comparison. It is also very competitive in a different way and very high pressure in its own way. I can imagine someone liking science and engineering and whatever she was in, but not liking the direction the course was leading. There are only certain jobs you can get with that degree, and maybe she didn't want to design the next chemical to wipe out humanity. Maybe she wanted to do something harmless like modeling and art or whatever she is imagining now. I think if you have talent, you might as well see where your education can get you, then move on from there. It almost sounds like she was having a mental collapse. Maybe she was just scared to face the pressure of school. Maybe people weren't fawning over her there for being smart because everyone there is smart. Sometimes you really have to tough things out that seem hard and maybe even pointless.

  9. People don't believe rape exists or they don't care if it happens as long as it is them doing it and not the outsiders. They don't want you to report any rapes by their own people. He should have had the girls report the rapes themselves and then just backed them up. They will look for any excuse to deny a rape, so a second hand source is less credible. I believe this happened. This is a kind of rape culture because people do look the other way and blame the victims and those who support them. The coach did the right thing, as far as he is concerned. He shouldn't feel bad that these losers don't want him around. Why would he want to coach of team of rapists who prey on students? I thought college was supposed to make you a better person, not a protected person.

  15. My thought on this is that you and the kid were both openly TYT supporters and that is why you were kicked off. I don't think only you two were filming, usually a lot of people are filming when there is an incident. No one asked you to stop filming, it is not illegal for you to film, so why would they kick you off for that? I think someone way higher up didn't want the plane to come because you were on it going to a conference. Then when the crowd got rowdy, they had to bring a plane but also make up an excuse to still keep you off of it. They punished the kid for sticking by you and standing with you. They didn't want anyone with your agenda getting to Miami and participating in the political events that you were scheduled to. The other person that was kicked off was that Hispanic kid in the black tee shirt who said he was your fan, correct? He wasn't loud at all and I didn't see him filming either. I thought this was political right from the start. I don't see how it is legal to just steal someone's ticket money either. They should be sued for inconveniencing you plus repay your ticket money. I could tell they were lying all along. That fat black lady who got on the intercom and said you plane is on its way, she was flat out lying. Maybe they wanted you to flip out so they could even arrest you. It was like they were just trying to see what you all would do being held there like idiots and lied to for hours. It looked like everyone was fighting with each other and the staff were getting scared. Troy looked very scared and like he didn't think he could control the crowd any more. He probably called security which made the supervisors show up. There could have been a riot there.

He ripped off the shareholders, that is the issue not the board voting him the bonuses. That isn't right that he makes a guy earning 30 thousand a year take the fall for his money grab. He should be fined his net worth and have to pay it back to whoever lost out. He should be put at $193,000 per year, not $19,300,000 per year. That is outrageous right there that he makes so much more than the rest of the company.

  19. The bully probably said he was innocent and the board believed him. They should have had a trail where the victim, the witnesses, and the coach got to testify. If they don't want to be fair about it, they are promoting bullying. I think schools promote bullying anyway. That is why it has always been a bad problem and apparently is now epidemic. You have all these kids now pretending that they are so nice and wouldn't harm flies, meanwhile they are so passive aggressively evil you don' know what hit you. The dad seems like a nice guy who was just doing his best to maintain law and order on the field. Football is supposed to teach some sort of discipline. No one got hurt running a lap.

  38. I don't think covering up is the same as modesty. Covering genitals is the same as shame and embarrassment, but that is not modesty, humility. It is not like people want to see any genitals. It is not like anyone wants to put them on display. I think the woman in the blue birkini looks very immodest, like she is very proud of how she looks. Modesty means you don't show off, but genitals are basically nothing to see. It is like looking at tonsils. They are just some dangling organs.

  39. It doesn't pay to fight other drivers or offer them advice or anything. If they are swerving in your lane, just stay back away from them. People are so crazy, you don't know what they will do. Did the Pontiac driver think that was right to do that? Did he leave the scene of the accident, or did he wait to tell the police his side? How crazy. Sometimes people do make mistakes while driving and then someone gets mad and honks and yells at them. All you can do is just keep going, keep your head down, and don't escalate it. If you were wrong, if you swerved in their lane, then just accept it and move on. Of course they are going to want to tell you off. I suppose the car driver wanted to say he was defending himself from an angry biker who was threatening him. That doesn't really seem to be the case. It was an angry biker telling him to drive more carefully.

  42. They won't do anything. I would say kick him in the leg, but then they would probably say she was in the wrong. He would probably accuse her of making the trouble on the plane. Then she would be charged and labeled crazy. A lot of men harass women on public transportation. There is no solution unless moving your seat or assaulting them back. He is filing anti-semitism charges with the police department. The Uber driver pulled up to torment him, he had already told Uber not to pick up him and his friends any more.
