Why not stay out of the water? Why do they think they can carry on like normal? Have they no common sense? Why didn't that man in Fairfield wade out instead of having the fire fighter carry him out like a maiden in distress? These people act like they pay so much to live there, nothing terrible could really be happening maybe. If you see waves on the bus or in the subway car, maybe get out before you drown. I find it VERY hard to believe there were no injuries or fatalities. A lot of people do live in basement apartments.
