  1. How much is this from landlords trying to recoup losses from the eviction moratoriums? People took advantage of them there. Now they are like having no mercy trying to get money back. Most areas keep gentrifying affordable housing out of the picture. There has to be some kind of stop to that, just labeling an area blighted so it can be taken over by unaffordable development. I have seen old towns half removed for this new development and it isn't serving the people in the area. Where they manage to go, who knows, but their towns don't care about them much.
