  1. A lot of people keep their mouths shut to stay friends with someone. If they confronted him, they would risk losing the friendships and maybe get kicked out of the church. I do agree it was wrong of them not to reach out to her or speak up for her.

  3. Maybe he made her say that at gunpoint. Maybe she did it to stall for time. Maybe he said he would shoot her anyway but gave her a chance to report the location so that the body would be found. If you were so worried about your family not being able to find your dead body, wouldn't you care more that they had to find it at all? I think he was there and forced her to make that call to cover for himself.

  4. She screamed before she was shot. You don't scream if you are about to shoot yourself. He shot her, said it was suicide when she was perfectly happy and energetic, and the police are covering for him. Maybe it is a freemasonry thing. He had no business being with someone like her. He brainwashed her to stay when she knew that abuse was wrong and the signs of abuse. She was confused and in a death trap with a monster.
